Echorouk, third most influential newspaper in the Arab world ( Part II)
Few days after being ranked by the prestigious magazine Forbes as the third most influential newspaper in the Arab world in a ceremony held in Dubai, numerous Algerian former ministers and outstanding historical figures congratulated Echourok newspaper for this unprecedented achievement that they consider as a crowing glory for the Algerian media.
- Abdelaziz Rehabi (Former communication minister and ambassador) : Great impact means credibility:

- “ I seize this opportunity to congratulate Echourok for this achievement and the high level of professionalism it has reached, being the first Algerian newspaper and one of the most influential in the Arab world means that it comprises highly skilled journalists who posses a great sense of acuteness and are aware of their society’s interests… this achievement reflects the newspaper’s sense of responsibility towards its readership and commitment to tackle their issues and its not that easy to achieve.. I consider the classification of Echourok by the US magazine as the third most influential Arab newspaper a proof of its credibility and professionalism based upon soundness and objectivity..”
- Sid Ahmed Ghozali ( Former Prime Minister): Hot files were behind Echourok success

- The former Prime Minister Sid Ahmed Ghozali has linked the success of the newspaper to its stubbornness to treat hot and sensitive issues as he has declared that this achievement was made possible thanks to the newspaper’s commitment to tackle complex files despite numerous hurdles… One has to admit that Echourok succeeded amid a hostile environment for the Algerian press and wish for it all the best in the future”.
- Abderrrahmane Belaayat( former minister): “ Echourok embodies the Algerian originality”

- For his part the former minister Abderrehmane Belaayat has declared “ Echourok has reached the summit, and before delving into the causes of this success let me just congratulate the newspaper and its staff for this achievement that placed it among the biggest Arab newspapers… I can tell it without any flattery or exaggeration that Echorok embodies the Algerian originality”.
- Lakhdar Bouragaa( Revolutionary figure): “Reaching 1 million copy is not easy”

- The former hero of the Algerian revolution Lakhdar Bouragaa has indicated that Echourok’s achievement are not “ easy to reach” and that what pushed Forbes to classify it among the most influential Arab media. However, he warned against any kind of manipulation in the future because, as he put it, the Americans intents wherever innocent can be, they remain suspicious… He further added that reaching the symbolic million copy a day is not an easy task”
- Mohammed Boaazara ( Parliament member): Echourok is the Algerians’ pride

- The parliamentarian Mohammed Bouaazara has indicated that Echourok was the Algerians’ pride and its staff has proven that whenever you give the opportunity to the youngsters you reach success in all the domains notably in the media field.. “
