Echourok reveals the new Algerian TV schedule

The Algerian television is due to release its new TV schedule in the upcoming days that includes diversified programs some are brand new and others were upgraded by the production department to live up to the audience’s expectations.

• The lion’s share for the young audience

• The production department has focused on youth programs with a series of magazines dedicated to the youngsters like the new weekly program entitled “ The white suitcase” that treats the problem of the disappeared, in replacement to the highly praised program “ Koulou Chaie Moumkin” ( everything is possible)  presented by the late Ryadh Boufedji.

• Other programs dedicated to youngsters are in the offing like the entertaining one entitled “ Alama Kamila” ( Full Mark) presented by Samia Athmane and “ Chabeb Life” presented by Samia Chaoueche that tackles youth issues including unemployment.

• Literature will have a corner in the new TV schedule with the program “ Travel with words” presented by Ghania Sid Athmane due to start next November. The concept of the program consists in deconstructing the newly released books in addition to inviting on the set writers.

• The Algerian TV is de to coproduce two full length movies in addition to the preparation for the shooting of two sitcoms and two series due out next Ramadan.

• A source from the production department has revealed that the Algerian TV will give priority to the historic documentaries that depict the atrocities perpetrated by the French colonials against the Algerian people.
