French experts presented a method for education programs in Algeria in conformity with French schools. They were based on French orientation law, according to leaked documents.

This comes as Algerian education minister Nouria Benghebrit denied allegations that the “second generation” programs would be supervised by French experts. She said they were present in Algeria just to present an ordinary program about public administration management.

The documents were leaked from national conferences organized by the ministry. They show that the new programs were supervised by French experts. They encourage supporting French language and turning Arabic into a hindering language.

Echorouk has also learnt that the programs were established before a conference had been held in 2015.

Presentations made during meetings at a high school in Algiers confirm that French experts are involved in the making of the “second generation” programs.

The “second generation” programs raised noise among media and pushed Parliament to question the minister.
