Education: No threshold, punishment of the BAC candidates who leave schools in early hours

Directors of National Education in Wilayas lifted a number of proposals to the Minister of National Education, Nouria Ramoun Benghabrit, to ensure a normal school entry without the “threshold”, by taking deterrent measures against students of the final sections who will leave the school starting from the month of February every year.

National Education Minister took the opportunity to hold the National Symposium on Interim Evaluation of school Reform, at the school of mathematics in Algiers Kouba, for programming a work session with the directors of education, on Sunday evening, about the preparation for the School Entry 2014/2015, as they relied on the process of listening to the concerns of directors of education who raised a number of proposals and demands for approval as decision for the next school entry based on the shortcomings that are recorded in the past years. 
Education Managers of Wilayas, presented a detailed report about the problems which they will face in the coming school entry, and on top of them, the problem of overcrowding in the third year’s sections due to the arrival of new pupils and the high number of pupils who repeated the baccalaureate, what makes their tasks more difficult, and thus they must take a number of emergency actions before the date of entry. 
Education Managers explained in their interventions _ During the same meeting, which lasted more than two hours _, that they can not get rid permanently of the “threshold of lessons,” which has become for the BAC candidates as an “acquired right”, calling for it every year even in normal circumstances, but if the phenomenon of the pupils of final sections who will leave their departments as from February, once they will ensure their registration and receive calls which are considered a visa to enter the exams’ centers and sit for the baccalaureate, so they suggested to the minister the need to develop deterrent procedures against them, starting from the coming school year to stop this problem, in a time they considered that the delay, which the school program noticed not only due to the teachers’ strikes, but due to the reluctance of students in their institutions for the study in their schools, as they resort to private lessons.
