Education: Synthetic Card for BAC pupils raises a controversy

Education Ministry announced on adopting the synthetic card for the BAC candidates, raising controversy about the limits of using it, and whether it was included as a module with a rating among the BAC exam modules, like the physical education or it will be granted as a card to save pupils who obtained a rate between 9/9 in an attempt to organize the BAC pupils along a whole year and reduce the rate of schools drop outs after the end of registration process among the list of BAC candidates.
Echorouk informed sources told Echorouk that the synthetic card of pupils is a card in which teachers write about their behaviors and diligence in the classrooms and their participation in solving the home exercises, attending lessons, absences and being late, in addition to noting the points and students’ payoff, as a total points is granted in every module by the teachers parallel to efforts and behaviors of pupils.
Until now, National Education Ministry did not decide about the limits and way of using the synthetic card, as sources told Echorouk that there are two options to use the card.
Either it will be adopted in case the pupil will obtain a rate of 9.00 or 9.99 in the BAC exam, as the card will be used to succeed in the BAC exam, and will be used as a way of rescue, I.e adopting the annual efforts of the pupil along the year, as the last card to save him/her from the BAC repetition, because many candidates work hard along the year to get high rates, but they fail in the BAC exam, which makes the whole year’s career get wasted if the pupil is confused and unable to succeed in the BAC exam.
