Education unions to go on renewable national strike
Education independent unions are expected to go on strike for three days every week to claim their rights which have not been satisfied so far.
- The national coordinator of the independent national council of high school teachers Larbi Nouar and the chairman of the National Union of Education Workers and Training Sadek Dziri said the decision was made because officials did not show a real will to treat the education workers’ problem.
- The unions are asking authorities to revise the education workers’ status including classification, promotion and senior positions. They also ask to review the compensation system and reduce incomes tax.
