Egypt squad use performance enhancing drugs, studies find

Egypt’s media, officials and citizens have been showing their proud of their national football squad since the African Cup of Nations started in Angola. Yet, many do not know that the secret of this “success” is due to other factors which have nothing to do with accurate scientific and methodological preparation.

  • Doubts are surrounding the “recipe” Egypt coach Hassan Chahata has found to revive his team.
  •
  • A new thesis says Egypt’s players were using performance enhancing drugs during the African competition which ended on Sunday in Angola.
  •
  • A Cameroonian report posted on the Internet said the Egyptian players take drugs and all the rumours about that are true. It talked about many studies on their performance in recent African finals held in Egypt, Ghana and Angola.
  •
  • According to the same report, Chahata’s players were turned into “human monsters” who are not affected by temperature and humidity.
  •
  • Researchers say the Egyptian squad’s performance is not the same in the African championships and the World Cup qualifications. That is a weird point which poses many questions.
  •
  • The players can not use drugs in the World Cup qualifications because the FIFA has very meticulous criteria and systems to detect drugs. On the other hand, the Egypt-based CAF does not have such systems, studies said.
  •
  • The Cameroonian report asked whether it is logic that Egypt’s squad played their last match with the same strong they played the first one. The answer was: it is obvious because drugs use explains why the Egyptian players’ performance was not degraded.
