Electronic payment: Feasibility study launched

ALGIERS – The National Center of Trade Register (NRC) and the Ministry of Post and Information and Communication Technology (MPTIC) signed on Wednesday in Algiers, an agreement for conducting a feasibility study on the E-commerce Register and payments via mobile phones.

This partnership agreement is part of the modernization of the commerce register in order to “facilitate access to economic and commercial information, and enhance the transparency of commercial transactions between traders,” said Minister Trade Mustapha Benbada at the signing ceremony in the presence of ICT minister Moussa Benhammadi.
