Employment systems retained 35 billion DZ allocated to jobless people

The government will raise retirement allowance by 2015 by 5 percent as part of the State’s budget. A total of 459,400 persons will benefit from this decision compared to 493,357 in 2014.

Laws on social security stipulate that allowances should not be less than 75 percent of the minimum wage fixed at 18,000 DZ.

The government also will raise the pay of employees at employment departments by 3.20 percent.

The budget was reduced by 25.87 percent in terms of economic activity-related expenses of employment national agency ANEM and the assistance system for professional integration.

Reports show that the fall was estimated at more than 35 billion DZ due to weak consumption of financial attributions of 2013 and 2014.
