Fawzi Chaouchi to Echorouk: “Saadane’s talk gives me more self-confidence”

Algeria’s team goalkeeper Fawzi Chaouchi said he was sad after the team’s defeat before Ireland, especially after the second goal, and asserted that he showed a good performance during the match proving that he is number one in the team, thing that gave him more confidence and power.

• Fawzi Chaouchi: It was exciting and we want to win in order to raise our moral, in order to go to the World Cup in the best circumstances.

• Fawzi Chaouchi: I only did my job and the most important is the World Cup, which will start in the next a few days.

• Echorouk: Coach Rabah Saadane told us that you are the goalkeeper number one. What can you say about this?

• Fawzi Chaouchi: I am proud, as this would motivate me to stay at the same level, and would help me emerge in the World Cup.
