Ali Haddad, President of the FCE Business Forum, defended himself against his critics by declaring his intention to bring an added value to the Algerian economy during a press conference Wednesday at the Hotel Aurassi in upper Algiers.

In this connection, he extolled himself that after 27 years spent at the helm of his Public Works Group, he had paid the equivalent of 2 thousand billion centimes in Dinars in taxes to the Public Treasury.

Moreover, Ali Haddad indicated that he is willing to contract an overall loan of 110 billion dollars to help the country if the economic situation so requires, including 100 billion dollars from Saudi Arabia and 10 billion dollars from Germany.

Mr Ali Haddad further underlined that he had indeed recently requested a loan from the national BNA Bank of up to 500 billion centimes (DA) stressing that he does not enjoy privileges for that matter.

He also said that certain hostile circles have been trying to demonize him despite the fact that he and his group now employs 15,000 people, adding this workforce will increase to 25,000 after the opening of his tubes-making factory in Bethioua, western Algeria.

    Interesting..
Mr Ali Hadad offers to help the country and help the economy to recover. Mt Hadad offers to BORROW more money from Saudis and Germans . do we call this a strategy or a tragedy ?
We don't help the economy by borrowing more money where Algeria has more than £150billion in reserve.. do we miss the IMF and their tactics?
The only way to help the country is by moving inward, which means invest in the local businesses to become SELF SUFFICIENT!!
Ali Hadad needs to sub contract some of his work to smaller businesses and enterpreuneurs and stir away from using foreign labour.
I know that our people don't want to work but they are right, pay them the same salaries and give them same rights and benefits as the Chinese and Turks , and they will work.. you don't exploit them .
