Feghouli will not play matches against Zambia
Algerian international player Sofiane Feghouli will not play in matches between Algeria and Zambia on September 2nd and 5th.
The first game will take place in Zambia’s capital Lusaka and the second in Constantine in Algeria as part of the third and fourth round of Russia World Cup qualifiers 2018.
Galatasaray’s manager said his player is injured and will not go back to competition until the FIFA’s international matches period is over. That means Algeria’s star will not play games until mid-September.
The manager also said Feghouli’s injury is not serious and not worrying.
Earlier on Monday, the Algerian player signed a contract with Galatasaray as he had been playing with England’s West Ham.
Feghouli has not played any preparatory match since the end of the last season because of injury.
Algeria coach Lucas Alcaraz called in Feghouli to play against Guinea and Togo in June. He played during the last 15 minutes of the first friendly game and in the beginning of the second half of the second official match.
