Financial experts: Islamic funding doesn’t exceed 2% in Algeria
Numerous economists have called on the Algerian authorities to review the current monetary and credit law to make fit the Islamic requirements following the example of various Arab and western countries including the US, UK and Germany.
- The political party Movement for Society of Peace ( MSP) has organized an international seminar that brought together several prominent international experts, to discuss the appropriate formulas for the revision of the current monetary and financial legislations implemented in Algeria in a way to facilitate the emergence of an Islamic monetary policy in parallel with the traditional one.
- This international forum will tackle numerous issues related to the Islamic monetary fundamentals where a number of experts including the professor Abdessatar Abu Raghda from “ Al Baraka” bank, Mohammed Hichem Al Kassemi from “Essalm” and Hamza Bouaaziz from “ Sorbone” university, will intervene.
