Five terrorists killed in Algeria

Algeria’s army killed 5 armed terrorists, arrested two others and recovered Kalashnikovs Wednesday in the forest of Mezrana in Tizi Ouzou province (100km east of Algiers), Echorouk has learnt.

• The terrorists who were in a shop to buy food were ambushed by the army. The five bodies were taken to a mortuary to identify their identity, say the same sources.

• This came after residents had informed security forces about the terrorist group. The army started carrying out a military operation Thursday in the forest of Mezrana to search for the terrorists on the run. Tens of hideouts were destroyed. Clothes and inciting documents were recovered.
