Five winners in Echorouk- British Council Competition

The final draw of Echorouk-British Council Competition was conducted on Wednesday. There were five winners out of 200 competitors who reached final rounds. A total of 40,000 readers participated in the competition which aimed at improving English. Prize giving party is expected to be held in late February.

• The draw was conducted in presence of the director of British Council M. Jeremy Jacobson, Echorouk’s representative and a bailiff who supervised the draw.

• This initiative came following an agreement signed by the British Council in Algeria and Echorouk newspaper to publish a series of 20 Premier Skill stories. Every week, the British Council and Echorouk run an online competition on the content of the articles.

• There were thousands of entries, from all over Algeria and from Echoroukonline visitors as far away as France and Malaysia.
