Community members and foreigners whose driving licenses were withdrawn by security services, on the national territory, will benefit from facilities and simplification of procedures to restore them, as departments are forced to hold an urgent meeting within 24 hours to deal with the files, but the withdrawal of the driving license will remain ongoing including those that were issued abroad, with preference to pay the fines instead of temporary withdrawal.

MP of the community for the National Liberation Front for the area of northern France, Djamel Bouras, published a response to the Prime Minister, Abdelmalek Sellal, on last January 26, asking for facilities for the community with implementing the law on the security of the roads that is faced by this group of road users, as the instructions may be directed to the sectors in order to study this issue.
Prime Minister responded that after studying this issue, and given the legal provisions that dictate the equal treatment between all the road users without distinction, it was agreed to simplify the procedure in case of violation of traffic law, through the adoption of more flexibility in dealing with cases of holders of foreign driving licenses, whether they are non-resident citizens or foreigners.
PM said that this flexibility is to instruct department committees in the cases that are provided for by law, and forcing them to meet within 24 hours, after receiving the driving license that was withdrawn, and pointed to the need to take into account the personal circumstances of this category of road users, with a preference to pay the fines on withdrawing the driving licences.
