Flight AH5017 crash: 10 Algerian gendarmerie officers, two judges to investigate with Spanish “Swift Air”

Officers of the research platoon that belongs to the regional group of Algiers Gendarmerie services in their investigation of the cause of the crash Algerian rented, where investigators will move the company of two judges at the Court of Sidi M’hamed to the Spanish capital, Madrid early next week to investigate the Spanish company “Swift Air”.

Official sources told Echorouk that a delegation that is composed of 10 officers from Algiers Gendarmerie platoon of research, and the National Institute of Evidence and Science of Criminality at the Gendarmerie of Bouchaoui, along with two investigation judges of Sidi M’hamed Court, in charge of investigating in the case of the flight “AH5017” crash, traveled last Wednesday to France, to implement the legal rogatory that was issued by the investigating judge of Sidi M’hamed Court, after obtaining the approval of the Court of Paris’ investigating judge, which is also in charge of investigation in the plane’s crash, as investigators will work in coordination with the French security services for a detailed investigation of the case. 

 

Same sources added that the gendarmerie officers are accompanied by two judges and will move to Spain pursuant to a rogatory letter that was issued by Sidi M’hamed Court to its Spanish counterpart, to investigate in the files and contracts for transactions that were signed by the company Air Algerie with the Spanish airline “Swift Air”, after suspicions about the lack of respect for the book of conditions and signing contracts that violated the laws in force, in the framework of the implementation of trade deals, as well as the financial value of the deal.

 

“Investigation, which spread to Spain was based on reports and information that reached Algiers Gendarmerie platoon of research, as what was published on the “Herald” website, that is specialized in aviation accidents around the world, and which confirmed that the Spanish company “Swift Air”, is known for frequent accidents that is caused by its planes. One of the company’s planes crashed on June 24, 2013 in Madrid, as its plane “AEA7306” that was leased by the airlines “Europe-Air” crashed in Madrid, Vigo, Spain, due to dangerous damage in the engine, minutes after takeoff, as it was obliged to return directly to Madrid airport where it took off with 68 passengers who were lucky to survive”.

 

Private Spanish “Swift Air” noticed another incident that occurred to one of its planes that was leased by the company “Vueling” on the line Palma de Mallorca-Madrid on May, 10,2013 on the island of Mallorca, two months before the last incident, because of the damage that hit the engine of takeoff MD -83, forcing the pilot to return to Palma de Mallorca to examine the plane.

 

June,26, 2012, another Swift Air plane noticed an incident in Bologna, where it faced serious difficulties in fling because there iwas a very low level of oil and pressure, thankfully the 33 passenger who were on board of the plane survived because it was close to airport, as the crew observed that the plane was loosing a large amount of oil that covered the left side of the wing.

 

June 24, 2012 “Swift Air”plane-type MD-83 faced another incident in Kandahar, Afghanistan, a few meters away from the runway while it was preparing to fly, as the pilot discovered that the plane was not going in a normal way on the runway, forcing him to turn around and break a piece of the right wing of the plane, which was carrying 91 passengers.
