Obsession of torrential rain and disasters returned back after the recent events in some southern regions and Tuesday’s tragedy in Bouira and Msila due to the torrential rain and floods, as the autumn rains that came a little bit late this year, started with disasters, last week end, while the rivers’ water surrounded dozens of people and cattle, on Saturday in western cities.
Many services of intervention and relief warned in several occasions of the fall’s torrential rains, and which may turn to a real tragedy in a record time, if no preparations and enough awareness are applied, as toads may be safe in summer but after the first rainfalls they become more dangerous than rain that fall with large quantities during winter, as lead to slipping roads that are covered with oils of cars.
In this context, civil protection services recorded 386 operations of absorbing water from houses on Saturday in various western cities like Ouled Brahim municipality in Saida, where three kids who were surrounded by water of Oued Kaffe river have been saved, and 20 people survived on board of six cars, after floods surrounded them in the road of Sidi Djelloul beach in Beni Saf, Ain Temouchent, and a young man was lifted in Bayadh, after floods swept him away in Oued Lakbour river.
