Football: Sofiane Feghouli Booked For Three Championship Fixtures
Algerian international football player, Sofiane Feghouli, on Thursday, was subjected to a three-match suspension, with his Turkish first-league team of Galasataray, a statement from the Turkish Football Federation’s disciplinary committee said.
Right-winger Sofiane Feghouli had received the red card from the referee meaning expulsion from the pitch, in the game between the team of Galasataray and host Trabzan Sport on Sunday evening, as part of the tenth round of the Turkish premier league championship.
Feghouli was booked because of a violent brawl on the pitch with his opponent of the day Oulkai Shahan, the midfielder of the team of Trabzan Sport, who was also, inflicted the same suspension for three matches.
As a result, Sofiane Feghouli will be absent from Galasataray team’s matches in the Turkish championship in the next three rounds.
He is due to come back to the pitch on November 28th, as part of the country’s Cup contest, which will pit his side Galasataray against the rival squad of Seves Peledy Sport.
