Football/ The Greens tossed about from one stadium to another in Paris for friendly versus DR Congo

The most surprising decision by the Algerian football Federation to change the venue of the scheduled friendly match between the Algeria football line-up and DR Congo in Paris has been received with biter discontent by the supporters of the Fennecs.

Against all expectations, the FAF President Hamid Haddadj decided abruptly to have the friendly played in Goussainsille in a Paris suburb instead of Nanterre as initially planned for so-called “security reasons”.

A FAF member lamely argued that the Nanterre stadium was too small to host such an international confrontation.

Be that as it may, several supporters of the Algerian national football quad have voiced their utter disappointment describing the mind-boggling decision by the FAF Federation as yet another “unpalatable farce”.
