French Army War Veteran Card

More than 55,000 Algerians have asked the French authorities to be recognized as War Veterans in the French colonial Army during the National Liberation War.

These low-down traitors to their mother land Algeria made these requests to obtain French nationality and / or pensions arising from that.

These figures were revealed to Echorouk by an official of the Center of War Veterans in the French Army based in Telemly in upper Algiers, saying that relevant applications have increased tremendously in recent years.

The increasing number of such requests came in response to the facilitation procedures initiated by the French administration since 2004 that require, among other things, only 120 days within the French Army in order to be eligible.

The same source added that this procedure falls under Decree No. 2001-362, published in the French Official Gazette, which highlights “the nation’s gratitude” for acts of war to all those who had participated in the wars waged by France.

It should be noted that France earmarks a budget of over €100 million Euros for War Veterans’ pensions.
