France’s champion wants Slimani

Monaco’s coach Leonardo Jardim noted the name of Algerian international player Islam Slimani to bring him to his team.

Summer transferts will close on Thursday.

Slimani is mentioned in Jardim’s list which also includes Chelsea’s Diego Costa, Torino’s Andrea Belotti, Sky Sports channel reported on Saturday.

Monaco is France champion 2016-2017. It has recently brought Algerian international striker Rachid Ghezzal.

Jardim knows Slimani very well. He coached him in Sporting FC in 2013-2014.

Slimani, 29, has a contract with Licester City which expires in summer 2021.

Licester City was beaten by Manchester United on Saturday’s match as part of England’s championship theird round.

Slimani had entered the pitch on the 76th minutes. The score was 0-1. Algerian player Ryad Mahrez was a principal element in Licester City.
