Freedoms Coordination to present its message to public opinion

The Democratic Transition Coordination’s consultation and follow up committee met on Tuesday to approve a message addressed to public opinion.The Coordination will reveal the message on the eve of the Revolution Day Academics edited it under the supervision of the consultation and follow up committee.

In a previous meeting, the committee stressed the necessity of transmitting democratic transition idea to public opinion in order to gain a new popular base.

Omar Khebaba, a leading member in the Justice and Development Party said the message will call on people to be involved in the democratic transition. “This will be done through unification between politicians and people. The committee will work on that.”

Farouk Tifour, a senior member in the MSP party told Echorouk the meeting will correct the message. It will be presented on the eve of November 1^st on circulars or advertisements on national newspapers.  

“The circulars will also be distributed during conferences and rallies organized by parties and national personalities calling for change. The message will be inspired from the November 1^st, 1954 Communiqué. It is the State’s main reference,” he added.

He also said that the message will raise people’s awareness about the “political crisis” in the country and the necessity of making a peaceful change.
