The so-called Jound Al-Khilafa decapitated French hostage Herve Gourdel on Tuesday in the Kabylie area as a 24-hour-expired deadline was given to France to stop air strikes in Iraq.

The terrorists beheaded the 55-year-old man in a way that reminds of barbaric killings of Algerian people by the Islamic Armed Group (GIA) in the 1990’s.

A video posted by the terrorist group on the net shows four men wearing Afghan dresses. Two of them were carrying Kalashnikovs. The third one held a bag while the fourth man was reading a letter justifying the execution.

The victim was forced to sit on his knees next to the terrorists. He transmitted a message to French President François Hollande, saying “you [Hollande] followed Obama’s instructions.” He mentioned the name of his family members, saying he loves them. A letter was then read signed by the terrorists intended to France. It was untitled ‘A letter in blood to the French government.’

Once the letter was read, the terrorists covered the Frenchman’s head. Two of them took it before he had been decapitated.
