Ghanouchi: we hope to develop Tunisian-Algerians relations

Tunisia’s Nahda Movement announced that its leader Rached Ghanouchi Tuesday had called Ahmed Ouyahia to congratulate him for being appointed as Algeria’s Prime Minister.

The movement Wednesday said in a release it “hopes that Tunisian-Algerian relations would continue developing for bigger cooperation and complementarity.”

Those congratulations are the first of its kind from a foreign party to Ouyahia. Meetings were held in the last months between Ouyahia (Director of the President’s Staff) with Ghanouchi in presence of Libyan Islamic leader Ali Salabi.
