GMA Resources reports first gold pour at southern Algeria mine
GMA Resources PLC has reported first gold pour at its Amesmessa mine in southern Algeria and proved that the ore leaches well.The company said it poured two bars with a total weight of over 24 kilograms , grading 87 pct gold and 12 pct silver and producing over 672 ounces of gold.
”We will continue to increase our area under leach and tonnes on the pad. This is the next step towards commercial production at the Amesmessa gold mine,” GMA chief executive Douglas Perkins told reporters.
