GSPC’s senior member Abu Al Abbas says to terrorists : « Don’t be afraid and surrender to security forces »

« My brothers, you should know that this nation’s ennemies including Jews and Christians are the beneficiaries of the fighting among Muslims. They like seeing Muslims in permanent wars. My brothers, there is no doubt that you left home only to estabish our religion because this is your intention. Yet, intention only is not sufficient. It has to be right. In the end, I realised that I was in the wrong way and not satisfying Allah. »

• With these words, Touati Ottmane alias Abu Al Abbas spoke to his old companion waiting in moutains to join the initiative of peace and the National Reconciliation. They do not want to miss this opportunity to stop armed acts to ask for pardon and announce their good intention to the Algerian people who had suffered from terrorism for more than 17 years. This would be a tough blow to the ennemeies of the Islamic nation and Algeria especially Jews and Christians and their allies inside the country.
• Abu Al Abbas was a senior member in the Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat (GSPC). He called upon terrorists who are still in mountains to stop excommunicating Muslims, stressing the necessity of stopping crimes against the Algerian people. « There is no doubt that reconciliation between Muslims is part of  solemn acts of worship and great rules belonging to the Islamic sharia.
• You should give up arms and join the « National Reconciliation »
• Abu Al Abbas called on terrorist leaders to be wise and let people who wanted to stop armed acts decide their future without pressure. He said that a set of killings were perpetrated among a number of terrorists who wanted to surrender. But this did not prevent others of surrendering. Four senior terrorists have recently surrendered. « We should contribute in the reconcilaition so that things will be fixed and safety will be restored. »
• « This can be done only by respecting the Allah’s holy book and his Prophet’s deeds. The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) said the Umma will not be misled if it is still attached to the Quran and the Prophet’s deeds. »
• « The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) encouraged good acts and warned against any evil acts. Any activity can not be good only if it includes two main conditions : faithfulness to Allah and awarness. »
• « My brothers, you should be aware in applying Islam’s precepts and the Prophet’s deeds. Preaching should be based on wisdom and nice words. Islam is a tolerant and fair religion. It is not a tough religion but it calls for safety, tranquility and stability. The Sharia’s rules stipulates to commit the lowest bad acts to avoid perpetrating the highest ones. »
• Don’t be afraid and surrender…We were treated well
• Abu Al Abbas said he was sorry for the days and years he had spent in a criminal environment. « I realised that I was in the wrong way and not satisfying to Allah. My honorable  brothers, we should revise our acts and assess our situation. If the Man revises his acts with sincerity , he will discover what is wrong and Allah will help him to realise his error. Revision should be done seriously by praying to Allah. I hope that my brothers will revise their preaching acts and consider the consequences of their activities they have been conducted for many years. »
• He called on his old companions in mountains to give a tough blow to the ennemies of the Islamic nation and Algeria inside the country and abroad. « Surrender and do not help Islam’s ennemies in their lies against Islam and its people. »
• Abu Al Ababs stressed the necessity of trusting security forces which ensured the possibilty to integrate once again in society to have a normal life. He said a number of repentant terrorists could integrate in society and were accepted by the Algerian people as they are ready to forget the past looking forward to a nice future without hatred. « We were misled by some ennemies as they told us we would be ill treated by security forces. Yet, we were treated well and we realised that the right thing to do is to come back to these nice people and answer the Algerian president’s call. My brothers, you should revise yourself, stop your armed acts and ask for pardon from Allah. »
• He ended his letter by calling for stopping sedition, saying « I pray to Allah to end this sedition and this scourge. He is the Responsive. » 
• Who is Abu Al Abbas ?
• Abu Al Abbas was born in 1969. He is a founding member of the GSPC dissident from the Armed Islamic Group (GIA). He was the leader of Bordj Mnail’s brigade in early 2000. He was appointed as a member in the notables’ council of the GSPC. He also held the position of the areas’ judge before he had surrendred on May 26th this year.
