Hamid Chebbat Prejudiced Against Algeria, Claiming that it is a Colonial State
General Secretary of the Moroccan Independence Party, Hamid Chabbat, did not miss a chance of meeting with the US ambassador, Dwight Bush, without attacking Algeria, and restored the old claims, including that “Algeria is occupying Moroccan territories”?
Chabbat claimed, on Wednesday, in a statement after his meeting with Bush, on Wednesday, at the “Independence Party” headquarters, said his party is “Algeria is a Colonial State?!”.
Moroccan politician who defended unabashedly the legalization of the drug trade, launched allegations claiming that Tindouf, Bechar and Kénadsa and other cities are Moroccan lands that are occupied by Algeria, adding that they belonged to Morocco before the French colonialism, and France considered Algeria as a second France, in the words of the General-Secretary of the “independence Party”.
“These areas are rich in minerals, including Tindouf, especially the iron ore”, but the meaning is not talking only timidly about the real occupation of the Spanish territory of Moroccan lands like Ceuta and Melilla”.
“Our party’s position also applies to Ceuta and Melilla and the Ja’fari Islands, which is a Moroccan territory, but which is still under Spanish colonialism. This is the position of the Independence Party which is inherited from father to son, and we are still stick to it, and our demands are clear.”
