Mouloud Hamrouche warned, during a speech on the occasion of the university’s summer for the party for Justice and Development, of a potential social explosion, citing the situation in Syria, Libya and Iraq, and accusing the regime of pushing citizens towards this explosion, which will lead the people to disasters and dangerous tragedies, due to directing the situation to the complete obstruction, calling for the occurrence of peaceful democratic transition that is based on rehabilitation and re-consideration of the state and using tools and institutions of domination and tyranny of power.

“Role of the army is very important in the process of democratic transition, through accompanying this transition and ensuring the well-known promises to ensure the permanence of the state.”
For his part, Ahmed Benbitour said on the same occasion, that the economic situation of the country in the coming years will be very dangerous because of the decline in the production of hydrocarbons by more than 16.7% between 2006 and 2011, and the volume of exports by more than 25.6% during the same period.
“Size of the decline has not been reflected on the state revenues in this area because of the high prices by more than 70%, and if the situation went unchanged in the future in accordance with the pace and methods that are used by the authority in the volume of production in 2016, it will reach up to the limits of 56 million tons and exports of the size of 43 million tons. It is imperative to preserve financial balances of the state by increasing the price of a barrel of oil in 2016 to at least $ 190.
