Hard jobs preliminary list before the end of 2016

A technical commission was set up on Monday at the General Union of Algerian Workers to determine a list of « hard jobs.” They will be excluded from a ban on anticipated retirement. A preliminary report will be presented before the end of the year, Echorouk has learnt.

According to sources at the Union, its Secretary General Abdelmadjid Sidi Said met with representative of federations on Monday. They came up with a commission of around 10 members led by Achour Telli along with a number of doctors.

The commission will submit a preliminary list of “hard jobs” by the end of the year. Samples of each sector and job will be studied.

Many criteria will be taken in consideration such as temperature, working place, night and day shifts, exposure to chemical and natural components and intellectual and physical effort.  

Many federations presented their suggestions to the Union on Monday while it was clear that they have different point of view about “hard jobs.”
