Housing: Deportation to start on June 21st, Algiers Governor, Abdelkader Zoukh, says

Algiers Governor, Abdelkader Zoukh, said on Saturday, that June 21st (next Saturday) is the official start of the first housing operations in Algiers, that will came one week before the start of the holy month of Ramadan, as Echorouk has previously spoke about this subject in its previous numbers.

First executive official of Algiers, that will notice the largest housing operation since independence, refused to speak about the number of the first beneficiaries and the identified share for them, or even the priority in granting houses, and preferred to say only that the largest possible number of residents in fragile houses will be deported, as the process will adopt in identifying priorities the Technic standards.
Sources related to the file, said that the residential areas will receive in the first stage families in Chaibia where 3216 houses, Sidi M’hamed 2160 houses, Ouled Lail 1032, Douira and Kheraissia, which include 834 houses.
Zoukh announced the news on the sidelines of his supervision on the distribution of 1040 houses keys under the framework of Social and Contribution Houses in the neighborhood of Mardja in Rouiba Municipality for the beneficiaries, as a ceremony was organized in the buildings’ square, where the governor listened to some citizens’ concerns, and asserted in his statement to media that the families that are concerned with deportation will benefit from houses before Ramadan, adding that the deportation of families in Akbia will be followed by closing their former houses in order not to be used again by other citizens.
