Illizi: Three terrorists infiltrated from Libya eliminated

Army forces backed up by helicopters and gendarmerie units managed eliminating three terrorists, a Mauritanian and two Algerians, attempting to smuggle load of arms from Libya.

• A security source mentioned that a fire clash erupted between the joint security forces and the terrorists in the locality of In-Zouin, in Illizi southern province, 200 km away from Algeria-Libya borderline.
• The security forces continued tracking down the terrorists who were about to smuggle a load of arms from Libya.
• The terrorists’ car was bombarded with missiles, the terrorists were eliminated and security forces seized 4 ammunition boxes, two medium seized weapons (FM) and 5 machineguns (Kalashnikov).
