Illusory deals between French company and Khalifa to buy 3 planes at 5.7 million dollars

Continuous investigation in the so-called Khalifa scandal showed that the Algerian businessman Abdelmoumene Khalifa had bought 3 private planes at $7.5 million following an illegal deal with a private French venture, according to well-informed sources.

• The sale transaction was intended to Jet Court, an English company Abdelmoumene Khalifa alleged to have created while it did not exist at all.
• Abdelmoumene Khalifa made his three planes available to a number of his fellows including Djamel Guelimi, the Lebanese journalist Raghed Al Chamaa and a French artist.
• An examining judge in Paris said she was about to finish the investigation in Khalifa case opened, 5 years ago.
• The judge heard more than 30 people as part of the investigation while the French justice refused to deport 5 suspects sentenced on charges relating to Khalifa Bank. They were arrested on May 29 in Paris but they were released after appearing in court following their striking testimonies.
