“I'm looking forward to meet the children,” says Madjid Bougherra

ALGIERS- Algerian Glasgow Rangers defender Madjid Bougherra, said he was moved after being appointed UNICEF “Goodwill Ambassador”.

“I am very excited and look forward to going on the ground and start the mission I was assigned,” Madjid Bougherra said Tuesday during a press briefing in Algiers, at the end of an official ceremony of appointing the Unicef ambassador.

On this occasion, N.2 of the Desert Foxes received a jersey bearing UNICEF from the hands of Manuel Fontaine, representative of the United Nations Children’s Fund which, in turn, was given back the Glasgow Rangers jersey N.24 of Bougherra.

Babacar Carlos Mabye representing United Nations representative in Algeria was also present.
