Scandals are still raised about the Algerian Football Federation headed by Khireddine Zatchi. Non respect of laws, carelessness and non maintenance of the Federation’s official website are among those scandals.

The latest scandal hit the Federation’s Twitter page. A video tape showing Algerian football fans shouting inappropriate words was posted.

The video was shot by a Spanish member of Algeria’s football technical staff. He used his smart phone to shot a match between two local teams. The video was posted on the Federation’s twitter page.

The Spanish trainer does not understand neither Arabic nor Algerian dialect. He posted the video in a spontaneous way as he thought the fans were just cheering. He did not realize that they shouted insults and innapropriate words. Because of that, he can not be held responsible for that.

None of the Federation’s officials noticed the video contents and asked the Federation’s Twitter page administrator to delete it. It was posted on August 26th.
