Interior minister reveals a special plan for youngsters in the offing

The last figures released by the interior ministry have revealed that 4 were dead and more than 789 others were injured, among them 736 security elements and 53 protesters during the recent clashed that erupted in various parts of the country over four days.

  • According to the minister Dahou Oueld kablia the first victim was shot dead in the province of M’ Silla when he was trying to storm  the police office, the second victim succumbed to his injuries in the hospital of Bousmail ( Algiers suburbs), noting “ that the circumstance of his death are still under investigation “.

  • The ministry’s communiqué has indicated that the third victim was discovered burnt to ashes in a hotel in the region of “ Tidjelabine” while the fourth one died after serious injuries in the a hospital in the province of Blida, 40 KMs west of Algiers.

  • In a declaration to Echourok”, the minister has asserted that the number of injured among the security corpses has reached 736 and six of them are in serious health conditions, while 100 injured were counted among the protesters.

  • The minister has vehemently condemned the escalation of violence in various parts of the country considering them as irrelevant because “ These acts of vandalism have targeted official buildings and other businesses”.

  • He has further indicated that the arrested troublemakers will be forwarded before justice, but he praised some citizens who showed a high civic spirit who stood up to the hooligans.

  • The minister has called on the youngsters to “ keep calm” noting that violence will not serve their cause; he recalled the “ unprecedented” measures devoted to them over a decade in order to improve their living conditions and asserted that other steps will follow in the upcoming months.
