Interpol arrest warrants against 4 GSPC chieftains
“Interpol” has issued international arrest warrants against 4 Algerian terrorists who are regarded as chieftains in the Salafist Group for Preaching and Combat –GSPC-.
-
“Interpol” is currently tracking down these 4 GSPC leading members, whose financial assets were frozen by the US Treasury about 6 months ago, following an in-depth investigation into their nefarious activities in several parts of the world notably in Algeria.
-
“Interpol” identified the 4 wanted culprits as being “Yahia Djoudi” born in 1971, “Ahmed Daghdagh” born in January 1967, “Salah Al Qassimi” and “Abed Hamadou” born in 1965.
-
The latter are said to be on the top rostrum of the Salafist terrorist groups who are still infesting some parts of the national territory despite the tight security clampdown.
-
It should be noted that 15 out of 120 individuals, wanted by Algerian justice, have been extradited recently to Algeria via “Interpol” as part of the close cooperation between the 2 sides in the unflagging struggle against terrorism and organized crime.

The International Police Organization “Interpol”, created in 1923, counts 186 member – countries, representing the 5 continents.
