“Interpol” ranks Algerian police in 5th place in terms of providing security for the citizens
The Director of the Central DGSN Museum announced during a lecture delivered at the House of Culture “Othmane Bali” in southern Illizi province that the International police organization “Interpol” classified the Algerian police in fifth place worldwide in terms of providing security for the Algerian citizens.
The lecture was given in the presence of the Wali or Governor of Illizi province, security officials, in addition to police officers and school pupils.
The lecturer harked back on the occasion to the long-standing and commendable history and the assets achieved by the Algerian police services at the service of the citizens and the nation as a whole since ancient times up to the present day.
He further described the Interpol’s ranking “well deserved”, while highlighting “the effectiveness of the Algerian police forces in the field and their steadfast efforts to develop and to modernize even further.”
