Ishak Belfodil criticized in Germany for his physical shape

Algerian former international player Ishak Belfodil Saturday participated with his new team Werder Bremen in a match against Schalke, which ended with 1-2 (Werder Bremen lost the game).

Werder Bremen’s coach gave the Algerian striker the freedom in the frontline but he was slow. Because of that, he was criticized by some analysts who said his way of playing is not useful for the club and he should improve his physical shape. They advised him to be quicker.

Belfodil asked for more time to be brilliant and to show the same level he used to have in Belgium.

He said Werder Bremen’s coach trusts him and he will make more efforts.
