Many citizens were flabbergasted while heading for spare parts car dealers in the suburban district of Bab Ezzouar east of Algiers to discover the existence in these shops of vehicle spare parts manufactured in Israel as it is commonly known that there are no trade relations between Algeria and the Zionist entity.

After other consumer Israeli products that entered the country’s borders in the recent past,  a dismal fact which was reported by the national press lately, it is now the turn of Israeli-made automobile spare parts to be exported forcefully to Algeria through devious means.

In this sense, baffled Algerian citizens have called on the relevant authorities notably the customs’ services to tighten control of the containers at the country’s ports, because such a low-down trading deals a scathing blow to  the reputation of Algeria which has always backed up the Palestinian cause.

This is the same solemn advice given by Mr Mustapha Zebdi, the head of the “Apoce” organization, who affirmed that with the situation presented as such, it seems that Algeria has covert trading links with Israel.
