Major Israeli newspapers did not fail to accompany this issue, including the Zionist television channel I24 News, which said that Algeria is among the five largest Antisemitic countries in the world, and it did not take long to link the event with the refusal of the Algerian national team of goal ball to face the Israeli team in the framework of the Brazilian Paralympic Games.
Israeli TV channel spoke about some of the peculiarities of Algeria, saying that it is a Muslim country that follow the Sunni sect, which is well known with hating everything that is Israeli, a position that was shared, adds the channel’s website, with the rest of North African countries, in a reading that seems contrary to the reality, because the Moroccan and Tunisian authorities have relationships with the Zionist entity, either diplomatically or economically, or through other communication channels.
