Q: Being the favourites in this tournament, do you consider you can ease through the semi-finals?
-
-
A: It’s true that some predicts our crowning in this tournament o account of our good performances since a while, but football in Africa has improved a lot and several strong teams are taking part in this competition including Algeria. Our task won’t be easy today before them, those who declared that we are going to beat Algeria in advance got it wrong because football is not a science and everything is decided on the pitch.

Q: How did you find the Algeria squad after the first round?
-
-
A: The Fennecs started the competition awkwardly, especially that they were trounced by in the first match versus Malawi by three to nil, but they bounced back and beat the strong Malian team and imposed a draw versus Angola at home and this is a big achievement. Algeria squad leaped back after their set back and got on the track very strong; this is a strong signal for us and their defeat versus Malawi is not a reference.

Q: What would make the difference today in your opinion?
-
-
A: Mistakes are not allowed in this fixture the least error would be fatal for either team. I think that individualities will make the difference in the match; as we are concerned, we posses a good potential and we can reach the semi-finals.
