JS Kabylie steadily gearing up for T.P Mazembe qualifier next Sunday

The players of the Algerian first-league team of JS Kabylie started yesterday their training sessions in expectation of their first-leg semi-final match next Sunday in Lumunbashi against Congolese Mazembe squad as part of the African champions' league football competition under the guidance and close supervision of their seasoned Swiss coach and the rest of the club's technical staff.

  • JS Kabylie’s coach Geiger is intent on doing away with all the lapses and deficiencies recorded during last Saturday’s  first championship fixture between his team and the visiting squad of El Khroub which ended in a narrow 3-2 victory for the Kabylian squad.
  •
  • The JS Kabylie coach was reportedly not at all satisfied at the performance of his players during their first championship confrontation versus the Khroub team notably at the gross blunders made by his defense line which sustained two goals.
  •
  • The JS Kabylie midfield was not also quite up to the mark and is expected to be revamped and beefed up for more efficiency in expectation of the decisive first-leg African champions’ semi-final qualifier next Sunday versus the DRC squad of T.P Mazembe which is widely regarded as an indomitable opponent, especially at home.
  •
  • The sole satisfaction for the JS Kabylie technical staff was the commendable performance displayed versus Al Khroub by the Kabylian striking line which succeeded in scoring three goals during this championship fixture.
  •
  • All things considered, the JS Kabylie coach and his close collaborators have to fine-tune their strategy of play to be applied during next Sunday’s grueling qualifier versus T.P Mazembe in the hope of wrenching a good result in Lumumbashi itself ahead of the make or break return confrontation in Tizi Ouzou stadium a fortnight later.
  •
  • Let’s hope that the JS Kabylie squad will have the wind in their sails in Lumunbashi versus the outgoing African League champions of T.P Mazembe!
