Justice sentenced six youth to 5, 20 years in prison on charges of joining Syria fighters

Criminal Court of Chlef (western Algeria) sentenced six young, who traveled to Syria to join the fighters against the Syrian regime, to twenty years in force against four of them, who are currently on the Syrian territory, while the two others were condemned to five years in prison.
Four defendants were accused of joining a terrorist group, which actions are not directed against Algeria, according to what was discussed at the trial of those youth on Sunday, as the two arrested youth, were immediately taken to jail after their return to Algeria by security services, as they revealed that they were in Syria before joining fighters against the Syrian regime, adding that they have a relationship with two people, who had joined the organization of the Islamic State in Iraq and the Sham, that falls under the banner of al-Qaida.
They joined them for Djihad and in order to help their Syrian brothers, and entered Syria via Turkey, where they lived for 15 days in the Syrian region of Idlib, and where they learned the techniques using weapons and war-fighting.
