Karim Matmour to Echorouk: “The match against Morocco is not decisiveâ€
Algerian international Karim Matmour told Echorouk the match against Morocco is quite different from that played against the Egyptian team in Sudan, asserting that the match will be tough and decisive in Marrakech.
Matmour was very happy when he arrived Thursday to Alicante airport in order to join the Desert Warriors in La Manga Club Center in the Spanish coastal town Murcia where he joined his team mates for the training camp.
“The match against Alas Lions in Marrakech is different from that against Pharaohs in Sudan; the latter took place under terrible pressure because it was the last opportunity to qualify to the World Cup. After the 4th June match against Morocco, two other matches will be played. The match in Marrakech is not very decisive, therefore, nothing will be decided until the end of the playoffs”, he added.
“I passed though tough moments, especially since I was in perfect physical conditions. I was excluded from Monchengladbach squad for reasons that have no relations with football. Currently I cannot speak about the real reasons; I will do it in the right time. I’m still playing for the club until another season and I do not decided about the future, as I may leave it one day. I will discuss this matter after the match against Morocco”.
“I was sad when my club failed to qualify but I think we deserve staying in the Bundesliga. My club played the final match against Anatr Yahia’s club Bochum; we travelled together from Germany to Alicante and discusshed the match against Morocco. We were eager to arrive to La Manga Club for the training club with our team mates”.
