Karim Matmour to Echorouk : “I suffer from the same injury again”

The Algerian international Karim Matmour is suffering from the same injury that kept him away from competition for more than two weeks. In a declaration to Echpurok he has yesterday indicated that he felt pains at his foot forcing him to stop the competition following the advice of a number of doctors to avoid further complications.

• Borusia Monchengladbach’s striker has revealed to Echourok through this interview that he intended to consult an outstanding Swiss professor specialized in these types of injures raising the probability to move to Qatar to be supervised by the Algerian professor Hakim chalabi, but he assured the Algerian fans that he will be present with the Greens at the republic of Central Africa to take part to the match.

• Echourok: Good evening, how do you feel after your comeback to the competition?
•  
• Matmour: Unfortunately not very well the same injury I was suffering of has come into surface again; I think it’s because of the intensity of the competition and my rapid return to the pitches. I could have waited a bit longer, anyway, I felt pains at the level my foot during one of the training sessions than after the match on Wednesday. I was little bit upset and cannot but blame myself for not waiting more that’s why I decided not to venture and talked to the coach and the doctor; it’s better for me to stop until the verdict of the medical staff.

• Echourok: Have you talked with one of them?

• Matmour: So far, I don’t have enough information about my injury, but I will discuss with a number of doctors in the coming days maybe tomorrow or the day after; I want to take things seriously this time around to avoid any complication that would delay my return to competition and will consult several expert to take the best decision.

• Echourok: You are thinking of moving to France to treat your injury maybe?
•  
• Matmour: This possibility didn’t come to my mind until know, I will most probably move to Switzerland t consult one of the specialists in foot surgery I have already contacted him but he’s out of this country for the moment. But I do not exclude moving to Qatar since I have talked to the Doctor Chalabi who gave pieces of advice.

• Echourok: Have you talked the Algerian coach Abdelhak Benchikha?

• Matmour: Yes, indeed, he got in touch with me first than called him back, we have discussed several issues and he asked me about some questions, we have dwelt on my injury and seized this opportunity to give me some advice.

• Echourok: have you talked to Karim ziani?
•  
• Matmour: I tried but unfortunately I couldn’t’ reach him, I wish a rapid recovery, his injury is complicated but I heard that he avoided surgery and wish him a quick comeback.
