Laifaoui to Echorouk: “Training camp in Switzerland will boost Greens' assets in World cup”
The Algeria international and defender of the ES Setif squad, Abdelkader Laifaoui, has said that the planned training camp of the Algerian national football squad in Switzerland will surely boost the Greens' chances of success in the forthcoming World cup competition to be hosted by South Africa.

In a statement to the newspaper Echorouk, Laifaoui waxed rather optimistic as regards the expected performance of the Greens in South Africa despite the grueling task ahead.

He stressed that most of the preparation work to be done by the Algeria players should be focused on the physical side adding that the Greens should be in top physical shape in order to be able to vie on the pitch with such fearsome teams as England, the USA and Slovenia.

Laifaoui asserted that the upcoming training camp in upper Switzerland would be most beneficial for our players on all fronts under the guidance of national team coach Rabah Saâdane and his seasoned assistants making up the national squad’s technical staff.
