Lamamra: “Algeria Puts All Arrangements to Secure Borders”

Algeria puts all the necessary arrangements to secure its borders and ensure security in the region, hoping to form a national unity government in Libya that will play a key role in building state institutions and fight against terrorism, Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Minister, Ramtane Lamamra, said.

Lamamra asserted, in a statement to the press, on the sidelines of the celebrations of the double anniversary of the founding of the General Union of Algerian Workers and the nationalization of hydrocarbons, on Wednesday, that Algeria “has developed all the necessary arrangements to secure its borders”.

Upcoming visit of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon to Algeria and the region, in March, is very important.
