Loans to finance jobless youth projects raised to 5b ZDZ
Government decided to review the ways of financing small institutions, which are developed within the framework of the mechanisms of youth employment “ANSEJ”, “CNAC” and ” ANGEM” by improving the value of the loans that do not exceed one billion centimes, for “ANSEJ” projects.
Finance Ministry is studying the possibility of raising the value of the loans to create youth companies to 5 billion centimes, with creating restrictions for banks to reduce the terms of granting these loans and diversifying them with focus on prospects of the small institution’s activity.
Governmental sources added that the Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal said that the two ministers Mohamed Ghazi and Mohamad Djelab, approved during the last cabinet meeting a work plan that is expected to be referred to the People’s Assembly, following a meeting between the ministries of finance, labor and employment in order to “count” the perceptions and concerns of youth in the area of granting bank loans to create a small institutions, in a move to develop a set of proposals that are based on what the Directorate of the Labour Ministry achieved and the integration of complaints in the area of financing youth projects, and the value of the loans, which sometimes prevents the achievement of projects without adequate efficacy.
Echorouk sources said that the meeting of the Finance Ministry with representatives oàf the Labor Ministry, will be in the coming days, as this matter will not exceed this week, and the agenda of the meeting will be confined at one point, concerning the counting of problems that still hinder the granting of loans for youth to create their own small institutions under employment agencies, which branched into three mechanisms ANSEJ, ANGEM and the CNAC”.
Same sources added that the loans will be reviewed according to the mechanisms, considering that ANSEJ projects are the most-favored, as its funding reached billion of centimes, when the project is unilateral, and three billion when the project is composed of many youth, as there is the possibility of raising the loan ceiling to 5 billion centimes, with review the widget, which does not exceed the value of 40 million to reach 100 million centimes.
