May, September 2013 batches released from National Military Service

National Defense Ministry included the batches of 3/2013 and 4/2013 with the new law provisions on national service that was reduced to 12 and 18 months, pending the identification of dates for releasing the rest of batches that meet the legal conditions for release through the end of the identified legal period for service by one year.
Statement of the NDM, which copy is available to Echorouk, said on Tuesday, that according to the new law provisions that are related to national service, especially article 76 that states in the second paragraph the ways of applying this law on the military service recruits through organizing the release of 3/2013 and 3/2014 batches, according to the ancient law in row, noting that the batch of 3/2013 concerned the recruits of May, 15,2013, while the batch of 4/2013, it concerned the recruits of September, 15.
First batch will benefit from a one year reduction after the presidential decree validity, following its issuance on the official gazette, while the second batch benefited from a six months reduction, which means that the new law provisions will applied retroactively.
Previously, the ministry asserted in the same context that the date of releasing every batch of the concerned batches will be communicated by the Defense Ministry in the right time.
